Thread: EX Alarm. Results 1 to 1 of 1. We had the machine moved. The door slammed, the key hit the door lock switch hard and out of alignment. Smashing the switch. When we ran new electric to this machine and powered it up the door lock switch would not work. I replaced the switch with a Mori switch. We still could not get the machine out of an E-stop type of alarm. Fanuc did not have any so we had it rebuilt by IRC.

Now The door lock sequence starts to work when powering up the machine but when it tells you to open and close the door i get the EX alarm. Does anyone have any ideas.

What's New? Results 1 to 6 of 6. Thread: Fanuc alarm Thread Tools Show Printable Version. Fanuc alarm Good afternoon, We have a Mori Seiki that has been running fine lately. We have just input a programme number to be sent from the shop floor computer, pressed the 'read' soft key, and an alarm has appeared: clear all memory I have tried deleting single programmes but it says 'can not edit'. I have tried taking the bold step of deleting all programmes, but when I press execute it sems not to register.

My key is turned to edit and my mode selector is on edit. I have tried isolating machine but alam will not budge. Any ideas what the problem is and how I can resolve it guys? You have a memory corruption, caused by the control reading in an incomplete program or something The procedue for correcting this is the clear the program memory, not by just pressing delete programs as you have done, but to do a memory clear on power up.

The fanuc yellow book should give you the procedure in the appendix about alarms Howeverif your machine has macros in the memory to do tool changes or run bar feeders as ours have, then you need to make a record of what these macros are because the memory clear will delete these as well even if they are protected from a normal program delete.

I agree with Boris that if you still have the ability to backup the programs do so. They will however as Boris stated be deleted when doing a master clear. First off what model Fanuc control are you using? This will determine the procedure in which you clear the memory and also the exact parameters to lock and unlock the and programs.

Since you said it is alarm I am going to ass u me that you are on a Oseries control. First backup your control.Forum Rules. This website or its third-party tools process personal data e.

Using a Trusty Cook liner and Spego bar feed.

Dove vengono salvati gli screen fatti in cs:s?

I'm wondering if the vibration can be setting this off. There is a proximity sensor that reads the passing of three notches cut out of the brake disc hub and is labeled spindle speed sensor in the book. It's connected directly to the PLC.

I see it's mounted very close and thought tomorrow I'd move it away a bit and see if it still reads okay. After my program stalled a couple times in the higher speed sections capped at rpm I pulled the bar out and ran it without stock and had no problems over what was three, two minute runs.

With it being so intermittent thus far I'm reluctant to swear to it that I've solved the problem. I mean, was running it without stock and eliminating the vibration really fixing the problem, or was the machine simply playing nice for the time being?

Hard to tell. I can't find squat about this error either here on the www. Anyone with past experience or ideas what I might be up against?Forum Rules. This website or its third-party tools process personal data e.

The alarm description in the book simply says "Sequence program error" and "contact Mori Seiki". Well, I have had some people look at it, and I've talked to a few people at Mori and tried Fanucbut no one seems to be able to help too much so far, so I thought I would test your knowledge here collectively. Anyway, looking at the ladder on the machine, the PER is definitely active, so I started there.

Following the ladder "backwards" from the PER coil leads me to the contact R When looking at that rung, the contact R Now then, if you're following along, the rung of the ladder I'm looking at seems to have a function block in it. I don't know how to decipher this function block.

The only thing I have noticed is that when I power up the machine and there is no alarm, the data in the function block shows one thing, and when we create the alarm by pressing the button, the data populates to something else.

If you could help me understand how the function blocks work, or what they are trying to tell me in this case, I would much appreciate it. Specifically in this case I have 5 boxes left to right on the rung which are labeled as follows: 1.
